YONGEER Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

YONGEER (hereinafter referred to as "this App") is developed and provided by YONGEER Company (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the Company"). Its core function is to provide users with Bluetooth connection and control services for smart devices, including but not limited to turning lights on/off, adjusting brightness, color temperature/color, and switching between multiple devices. We fully recognize the importance of personal information to users, so we have formulated this Privacy Policy to clearly explain how we collect, use, share, transfer, disclose users' personal information and the measures taken to protect such information.

2. Collection and Use of Personal Information

To ensure the normal operation of smart device control services, we only collect information corresponding to the following necessary permissions, with no additional information collection:

  1. Location Permissions: Only used to assist in the search and connection of Bluetooth functions (some devices require location permissions to activate Bluetooth scanning), ensuring you can smoothly connect to and control smart devices.
  2. Microphone and Audio Permissions: Only used by the device to collect ambient audio, so as to realize the function of lights syncing with audio rhythms. Audio data will not be retained or used for other purposes.
  3. Camera and Photo Permissions: Only used to capture real-time images via the camera or access local photos, allowing the light color to directly sync with the color of the captured image or photo. No camera-captured content or image files will be stored.

3. Sharing, Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Information

(1) Sharing

We strictly restrict the scope of personal information sharing, and may only share it under the following specific circumstances:

(2) Transfer

We will not proactively transfer your personal information. If personal information needs to be transferred due to business adjustments such as company merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, we will require the new information holder to continue complying with this Privacy Policy, or re-obtain your explicit consent before the transfer.

(3) Disclosure

We will only publicly disclose your personal information when you explicitly consent, when required by mandatory laws, or under other necessary circumstances as stipulated by laws and regulations.

4. Protection of Personal Information

We adopt multi-level security measures to protect the security of your personal information:

  1. Basic Security Protection: Implement industry-standard security technologies and management measures to prevent personal information from being unauthorizedly accessed, disclosed, modified, damaged or lost.
  2. Transparent Management: Clarify the personal information processing process, establish a dedicated personal information protection department (or designate a person in charge) to coordinate privacy protection work.
  3. Encryption Processing: Encryption technology is applied to personally identifiable information during transmission and storage to reduce the risk of data leakage.
  4. Risk Control and Early Warning: Conduct risk control management by analyzing login information such as login devices and IP addresses. If suspicious non-owner login activities are detected, we will promptly send you a reminder via SMS.
  5. Server Security: Servers are equipped with security-hardened operating systems, regular account audits and security monitoring are conducted, and system patches are updated in a timely manner to address potential security vulnerabilities.

5. Users' Right to Manage Personal Information

You have the right to independently manage authorizations related to personal information: you can withdraw your consent to the collection and use of relevant personal information by disabling the corresponding permissions on your device (e.g., disabling location permissions in the mobile phone system settings). We will adjust the service scope according to your choices to ensure that the service functions are consistent with your authorizations.

6. Protection of Minors' Personal Information

Minors (usually referring to individuals under 18 years old, subject to local legal regulations) must obtain the consent and authorization of their legal guardians before using this App. We recommend that guardians carefully read this Policy and guide minors to use the App correctly. When minors use this App, they are only allowed to access information, use operation tips and other functions that do not involve personal information collection.

7. Scope of Application of the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy only applies to the information processing activities of the YONGEER App itself, and does not apply to information collection in the following scenarios:

8. Changes and Revisions to the Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy based on updates to laws and regulations, adjustments to business functions, and other circumstances. If there are material changes to core clauses (such as the scope of information collection and purpose of use), we will notify you through prominent methods such as in-App pop-ups and push notifications; non-material changes will be updated on the policy page, and you can check them at any time. Without your explicit consent, we will not restrict the rights you already enjoy by revising the Policy.
